Maintenance Supervisor

The City of Lake Park has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor. The City of Lake Park is a fast-growing City in Southeast Georgia, with great potential for advancement for the successful candidate.

As Maintenance Supervisor, it will be your responsibility to lead and engage in manual labor and equipment operation work for streets, facilities and water maintenance and construction projects for the City of Lake Park. Provides direction, assistance, and guidance to crew members; demonstrates proper techniques; and ensures all safety practices are followed on the job site; prioritizes and assigns daily work tasks; and ensures the crew has the proper tools, equipment and materials to complete daily assignments. This position assists in the planning, organizing, and coordinating work for operations and projects, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements include High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one year of experience performing street or water/sewer maintenance work to include operating construction equipment and using hand and power tools; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. Ability to follow written and/or verbal job assignments and/or crew assignments. Ability to complete and maintain written daily maintenance logs, and monthly maintenance reports on completed and upcoming projects. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license. Team mentality is a must.
